Sadhu board dimensions and usable area
В мені · VMENI · Updated · 2 min read
Choose the board size by comparing your foot length and width with the nail-covered working area. A shoe-size label is only the supplier’s guide; centimetres are more precise. The platform should not force part of the foot to hang off because it is too small. Outside dimensions, working area and the size of the closed set are different measurements.
Measure both feet
On paper on a level surface, mark the heel and longest toe, then measure between them. Also measure the widest part of the foot. Repeat for the other foot and use the larger measurements. You do not need to stand on nails to do this.
Find the usable area
You need the length and width between the outer contact rows, plus the base’s outside dimensions and shape. A shaped board may be widest in a different place from the front of your foot. A dimensioned drawing or a photograph with a ruler is more useful than “universal size”.
Understand the empty borders
A 30 cm base with 2 cm from each outer end to the centre of the outermost row leaves about 26 cm between the row centres. This explains the difference between measurements; it is not a universal clearance standard or a promise that a particular foot will fit.
A pair and a shared platform
For a pair, check the dimensions of each half. For a single shared platform, also check whether the intended arrangement has room for both feet. Equal total area does not make the two constructions interchangeable.
Storage dimensions
Measure the closed set together with its protective parts for a cupboard or bag. Nesting halves can save space, but closure must match the particular design. Do not sacrifice the working area you need just to fit a smaller case.

Equipment comparison, not individual medical clearance. Supplier recommendations are not a universal standard.
