A board demonstration is different from physical participation
В мені · VMENI · Updated · 2 min read
A board demonstration shows an object and its features; practising is a separate voluntary decision. At an open event, someone may watch, ask questions or walk away without being required to try. Observing does not mean consenting to stand.
Explain the demonstration
Name what is being shown: construction, closing or movement of components. Protect sharp parts against accidental visitor contact. Do not invite people to test points with their fingers.
Before possible participation
Explain the actual format, equipment, support and ending. A queue or public attention should not rush the decision. Recording and the use of images require separate agreement.
Keep the choice simple
“You can just watch” is enough. Do not call people afraid or compare them with previous participants. If there is no room to explain the conditions calmly, keep the activity to showing the object without physical participation.
An exhibition-area example
A visitor wants to see the mechanism. Explain closing and features without immediately asking them to stand before a crowd. If interested in participation, discuss terms separately. This makes the demonstration informative rather than public pressure.
Recording the demonstration
Equipment and identifiable people are different subjects. Agree organiser rules and do not record visitors’ reactions without agreement. A conversation near a public object is not automatically publication material. An equipment-only frame may explain the construction adequately.
Description is not a result guarantee
Explain materials, spacing, dimensions and mechanism without promising a particular emotional or treatment outcome. For a purchase enquiry, return to specifications and sale terms. Being in a crowd is not a reason for an instant decision; watching, buying and participating remain separate choices.
